Express Signage - Universal's Islands of Adventure
The Universal Express distribution system required a flexible signage approach capable of adapting to multiple themed environments while maintaining a consistent operational function. Working with Falcon’s Treehouse, I designed custom Express signage for individual lands throughout Universal’s Islands of Adventure, each tailored to its surrounding architecture, materials, and narrative style.
The work focused on integrating wayfinding, digital displays, and illuminated elements into highly themed environments without disrupting immersion. Each kiosk was designed as a site-specific object, responsive to scale, sightlines, and guest flow, while still operating as part of a larger, park-wide system. The result was a cohesive Express experience that functioned consistently across the park yet felt purpose-built for every land it served.
