MIB: Alien Attack

The signage design and construction for Universal Orlando’s MIB: Alien Attack attraction drew heavy inspiration from 1960s Googie architecture, characterized by futuristic shapes, bold lines, and bright colors. The comprehensive sign package included over 80 meticulously crafted signs, seamlessly integrated throughout the expansive 90,000 square foot facility. These signs not only marked the attraction itself but also extended to merchandise areas, food and beverage outlets, and operational zones, ensuring a cohesive and immersive visitor experience. Each sign featured elements typical of Googie style, such as starbursts, sharp angles, and dynamic typography, capturing the retro-futuristic aesthetic perfectly. The thoughtful placement and design of the signs enhanced navigability and thematic consistency, guiding guests through the $70M attraction in a visually engaging manner.
