Seuss Landing - Universal's Islands of Adventure
Seuss Landing was an early example of large-scale experiential design operating as a system, where storytelling, fabrication, logistics, and guest flow had to work together under real constraints. As part of the opening team for Universal’s Islands of Adventure, I collaborated with designers, fabricators, and construction managers to expand themed entertainment in Central Florida at scale.
The project required translating Dr. Seuss’s highly stylized, physics-defying worlds into buildable, durable environments. Sculpted foam signage played a critical role, demanding precision across design intent, material behavior, fabrication methods, and installation sequencing. The result was an immersive environment that balanced creative ambition with operational realities, designed not just to look whimsical, but to perform reliably for millions of guests.
