Men In Black: Alien Attack - Universal Studios Florida
I was hired to independently design and produce the complete attraction signage package for Men In Black: Alien Attack, delivering a fully integrated system that carried the ride’s 1960s Googie / retro-futurist attitude from the park thoroughfare through the queue, retail, food and beverage, and operational zones. The scope encompassed the entire guest journey, primary attraction identification, wait-time and queue messaging, wayfinding, safety and height requirements, restroom signage, and back-of-house elements, each designed to read quickly in motion while reinforcing the humor, energy, and visual language of the IP.
This was an end-to-end effort, from concept through fabrication intent. I established the visual system (typography, iconography, shapes, materials, and color), produced all design intent and construction drawings, and coordinated directly with internal stakeholders and external fabricators to ensure durability, clarity, and consistency at theme-park scale. The result was a cohesive family of more than 80 custom sign elements, purpose-built to support high-throughput guest flow while remaining fully immersive and unmistakably Men In Black.
